Max Seunik works on the investments team of Grand Challenges Canada – one of the largest impact-first investors in Canada supporting a pipeline of over 1,000 innovations in more than 90 countries. Max directs capital to scaling health innovation in low-resource settings with the potential to save up to 1.6 million lives and improve 35 million lives by 2030. In the past, Max has advised and worked alongside the Minister of Health of Rwanda, with CIVICUS in South Africa, and leading an engagement group within the 2018 Canadian G7 Presidency. He founded and leads Young Diplomats of Canada, a national, non-profit organization that connects Canadians with global summits of the G20, World Bank & IMF, and UN. Max holds a masters in Global Management from Tsinghua University in Beijing as a member of the inaugural cohort of Schwarzman Scholars – and a degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
